[Snort-User] Question about SUN SPARC Box install Version 8

Has any one complied Snort 1_8_1 w/Mysql --> Apache --> PHP and ACID or any
other version of snort on a Sun box. If so, please provide any input. 
I have noticed most people are using NT, Linux of BSD.
