RE: ACID and MySQL DB timeouts

is there a good guide on getting Snort to work with Acid. i.e. how do I
configure snort for mysql, etc etc

Newer ACID versions allow you to change this value in ACID's configuration
file, acid_conf.php. But you may also change in /etc/php4/apache/php.ini
or something similar in your distro.
