Folks, Please disregard the previous posting regarding spp_tcp_stream2.c. I've got problems independent of snort in the shared memory department which lead to highly exaggerated memory statistics. Essentially, when the snort program exits abnormally, some cleanup is not done which my version of libpcap needs. The result is, that some shared memory is not returned to the systems memory pool.
