Proprocessors alerts priority setting: how

Hello, I'm wondering how priority/classification are set up for preprocessors. Looking at 'spp_portscan.c' I see nothing about it, but get it in the alert file itself, like in: 05/23/01-17:52:39.161077 [**] spp_portscan: PORTSCAN DETECTED from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (STEALTH) [**] [Classification: Potentially Bad Traffic] [Priority: 2] or 05/23/01-17:53:01.853464 [**] spp_portscan: PORTSCAN DETECTED from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (THRESHOLD 4 connections exceeded in 0 seconds) [**] [Classification: Attempted Information Leak] [Priority: 3] How and where is it done ? Or is it a side effect (in the same alert file some spp_portscan lines don't have priority) ? Thank you, François _______________________________________________ Snort-users mailing list Snort-users () lists sourceforge net Go to this URL to change user options or unsubscribe: http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/snort-users Snort-users list archive: http://www.geocrawler.com/redir-sf.php3?list=snort-users
