hi sc-l, Some minor kurfuffle has erupted on the net recently over the "invention" and subsequent patenting of software fault injection by Cenzic. I found the idea amusing enough to make it the subject of this month's informIT column. You see, I was taught all about software fault injection for security by Jeff Voas in 1995. We wrote a book about it together in 1997. http://www.informit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=1687636 Anyway, software patents?! You betcha. gem company www.cigital.com podcast www.cigital.com/silverbullet blog www.cigital.com/justiceleague book www.swsec.com _______________________________________________ Secure Coding mailing list (SC-L) SC-L () securecoding org List information, subscriptions, etc - http://krvw.com/mailman/listinfo/sc-l List charter available at - http://www.securecoding.org/list/charter.php SC-L is hosted and moderated by KRvW Associates, LLC (http://www.KRvW.com) as a free, non-commercial service to the software security community.
