informIT: Software Fault Injection

hi sc-l,

Some minor kurfuffle has erupted on the net recently over the "invention" and subsequent patenting of software fault
injection by Cenzic. I found the idea amusing enough to make it the subject of this month's informIT column. You see,
I was taught all about software fault injection for security by Jeff Voas in 1995. We wrote a book about it together
in 1997.

Anyway, software patents?! You betcha.
