FYI, interesting article out on ZDNet (full text at http://news.zdnet.com/2100-1009_22-6025579.html) announcing the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security funding of a joint Stanford/Symantec/Coverity project over three years. The project aims to provide periodic scans of popular open source software using Coverity's commercial scanner and Symantec's security intelligence service.
