Learn how to implement successful strategies to automate the detection and removal of
software security vulnerabilities early in the development lifecycle. Throughout this
presentation, practical techniques for improving security in both new and existing
software systems will be demonstrated. Attendees will also view a case study showing
examples of real security vulnerabilities found in open-source software using automated
static analysis technology. In addition, the analysis of these vulnerabilities will be
approached from multiple perspectives, including a look at their relationship to the
software implementation, design and architecture.
