FC: Bill Purdy asks Washington Post about "sucks" domain name

The Washington Post has been trying to get Bill Purdy held in contempt, 
with a hearing scheduled for Wednesday 
(http://news.com.com/2100-1023-961276.html) but it was postponed at the 
last minute because of the judge's schedule.

Perhaps fearing wide redistribution of their filings, the newspaper's 
attorneys at Wilmer no longer seem to be emailing motions to Purdy. I do 
not have convenient versions to put online. Here are less-convenient JPG

Dear Ms. Alexandri,

When we spoke on the phone yesterday I informed you that I had just 
reserved the domain name http://www.TheWashingtonPostSUCKS.com .   I asked 
you to comment on whether or not you felt that using that domain name was 
in compliance with the July 23, 2002 - September 5, 2002 Preliminary 
Injunction/Clarification?  I informed you that I would wait a day or so for 
you to comment BEFORE I started using it.  Please reply soon via email with 
your comments if you have any.

I wish to remain in Perfect Compliance with the Preliminary 
Injunctions.  In your Amended Proposed Preliminary Injunction Order 
submitted to the court you stated that you did NOT object to my ownership 
and use of www.ABORTWashingtonPost.com and www.WashingtonPostMURDERS.com 
.  The Court agreed and subsequently, the Court did NOT require me to stop 
using those domain names and they are currently in full use by me.  The 
Court also indicated to me in the record that any domain name with the word 
"SUCKS" in it is "Constitutionally protected", and Mr. Carome made similar 
references to that fact in the record during in his oral argumentto the 
court.  You and your client have also chosen NOT to ask me to stop using 
www.WashingtonPostCENSORSHIP.com because you believe that such use by me is 
also NOT in violation of the Preliminary Injunctions and is also 
Constitutionally protected speech within a domain name.  I continue to make 
full use of www.WashingtonPostCENSORSHIP.com and attach to it the webpage 
regarding the Washington Post's Editorial on Fox News Host Bill O'Reilly at 
http://www.billpurdy.com/oreilly.htm.   I believe quite strongly, as do 
other learned people, that my use of www.TheWashingtonPostSUCKS.com would 
be in full compliance with the Preliminary Injunctions.

Please immediately email me your comments regarding my reservation and 
intent to use www.TheWashingtonPostSUCKS.com.    I intend to today either 
attach it to a "protest or critical commentary" website about the 
Washington Post that I design myself with a "TheWashingtonPostSUCKS 
Discussion Board", or I will submit it to the www.SUCKS.com website where a 
"WashingtonPostSUCKS Discussion Board" will be provided by www.SUCKS.com at 
the Sucks500.com Message Board probably at "Corporate America Sucks 500 
List (V-Z)".  Please let me hear from you by 5:00PM Central today your 
comments and I will hold off on any use of www.TheWashingtonPostSUCKS.com 
until that time to hear from you.
