Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico -- 12 August 2003 --  Mexico's most
popular pornography star, Maria Sansculotta, was released on parole
today after being awarded the coveted Golden Genitalia Award at the
All-Mexico Webcam Porn Festival.  Ms Sansculotta rose to stardom
shortly after Webcams were installed in her jail cell in Mexicali
last year when she decided to bare her, ah, soul to the camera.  Fan
mail started pouring into the prison and fan clubs sprang up all over
Mexico.  Ms Sansculotta progressed, if that's the verb, from simple
flashing of buttocks and breasts to full-scale stripping, often to
the enthusiastic encouragement of her cell-mates.  The amount of
publicity generated by her actions was so great that local
politicians began visiting her jail cell simply for air-time via the
Webcam.  Other prisoners, seeing the following her show generated,
staged various other forms of entertainment such as vaudeville acts,
toilet-paper eating, consensual buggery, toss-the-feces contests, and
general fisticuffs. . . .
