FC: Silensky/Wilensky search over; administrative note

Dozens of politechnicals wrote back in response to Paul McMasters' request (http://www.politechbot.com/p-01395.html) for information on a "Professor Silensky." Turns out there's a Professor Robert _Wilensky_, in the CS dept at UC Berkeley, a fact which Michael Sims was the first to point out.

Andrew Odlyzko of AT&T Research wrote in with a related webpage that tracks the evolution of that monkeys-and-typewriters idea, maintained by his colleague Jim Reeds:
  http://www.research.att.com/~reeds/monkeys.html

Interestingly, Andrew Gettler suggests that:
"Professor Rober Silensky" is variously identified as being on the faculties of: University of California; California University; Cambridge University, and this particular quote is, quite literally, all over the web; homepages, forums, political treatises, scientific journals, etc. etc

In other news, the search/subscribe/unsubscribe functions are working again on politechbot.com. I was doing some server reconfiguration recently and temporarily disabled CGI scripts.
