                     MOSCOW -- In the former Soviet Union, 
                     Big Brother may not be watching you any 
                     longer, but he'd like a peak at your e-mail. 

                     Russia's security service, the FSB, 
                     the main successor to the Soviet-era KGB, 
                     is tapping into most of the country's 
                     Internet service providers under a federal 
                     directive that allows it sweeping powers to 
                     monitor e-mail and Internet traffic.
