 Missouri has become the 45th state to enact data breach notification
 legislation. Governor Jay Nixon signed House Bill 62 into law on July 9,
 2009. The new law goes into effect on August 28, 2009.

 The law contains a broad definition of personal information. In addition
 to the more common elements of first name or initial and last name in
 combination with unencrypted Social Security Number, drivers license
 number, financial account number, or credit or debit card number, the
 statute also includes in the definition of personal information first name
 or initial and last name in combination with an unencrypted:
