Why not just boot the laptop with a usb install of backtrack this way you can get access to the tools and be bale to save you info. Or install vmware on vista and install a version of linux within that Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry -----Original Message----- From: "Leonardo Cavallari Militelli" <leonardocavallari () gmail com> Date: Thu, 20 Mar 2008 19:05:48 To:pen-test () securityfocus com Subject: Pentesting using Vista? Hi all, Does anyone ever used Windows Vista for pen-testing/security assessment? I just got a new laptop from company that seems to have many compatibility issues with linux distributions and miss some drivers for XP.
