Don't know about CREST but have a look at TIGERScheme, they are in a
similar position / alignment to CREST and are able to accredit testers
now. Have a look at their website at http://www.tigerscheme.org or
http://www.tigerscheme.org.uk or contact QBit for details. I think
the TIGER website is temporary / under dev but QBit will answer any
questions.

We were in the process of applying for CREST accreditation earlier this
year, but have not been able to get any responses out of them since August.
Has anybody else had a similar experience?

Can anyone provide me any information if the CREST "project" success
or lack there of? Also, is there an presence in the US?
Lastly does it have it's on Pen testing Methodology and how does it
stand against OSSTMM and ISSAF?
