Like any other product skype is also found vulnerable. The latest one is http://secunia.com/advisories/20154/ You can try metaspoilt and/or other tools to actually exploit skype.
Hello, I really doubt there will be any exploit for a remotely-exploitable Skype buffer overflow in any existing tool (e.g. Metasploit), considering the amount of (copyrighted ?) code that would involve. On the other hand, tricking someone to make a Skype call using the aforementionned vulnerability can be very dangerous, for you can establish full remote control of a PC through various Skype plugins. The plugin (.DLL) must have been installed on the victim's computer, though. Sample plugins : http://www.netopia.com/software/products/tb2/tb2_skype.html https://www.openrce.org/blog/browse/Kostya Regards, - Nicolas RUFF ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This List Sponsored by: Cenzic Concerned about Web Application Security?
