Yah the CEH course itself is quite poor, but depending on the instructor 
it can be extremely rewarding.

I also recommend looking into the OPST which I found slightly more 
rewarding and goes to a bit deeper level (actually understand TCP/IP 
flags rather than just the tools to create the packets).
