I've used the gigabyte one like the one from the following ebay link (cut and paste appropriately). It's done me well in my Dell Inspirion 1300. I use Fedora 5, with my own custom built kernel, the Madwifi drivers, kismet, Aircrack and a couple of other tools. The only problem is getting it to work with airsnort, but the other tools work just as well. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Atheros-GIGABYTE-GN-WIAG02-MiniPci-802-11g-108-Mbit_W0 QQitemZ9728962175QQihZ008QQcategoryZ45000QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewIt em Regards, Prashant Meswani. could u recommend some cards that are supported by all security test software? eg airsnort/kismet? will i need to purchase one of each chipset? ie prism2/atheros. i need windows and linux support. thanks
I'm using Linux/kismet/aircrack with a 2.6 kernel and a Netgear WPM511 PCMCIA card. Works flawlessly.
