I would have thought that Etisalat would shut you down in an instant for conducting a pen test. Seriously though, do you know what OS it's running? Have you tried sending it various ascii commands (e.g. SMTP, HTTP, etc.)? If it's appropriate, I'd ask the sys admin. Do remember that unless you're also conducting a port inventory (which you probably aren't), you don't need to take too much time harping over one port, which by the sound of things you couldn't exploit even if you knew what was listening.
