You need to configure Trivial FTP for downloading the configs from any of the Foundry switches. Setup TFTP on any one of the workstations. Its available for free from Solarwinds. I am assuming that your have given you switch an IP address and is connected to the LAN. Login with privilege mode into the switch and use this command: " copy startup-config tftp A.B.C.D filename " Where A.B.C.D is the IP address of the TFTP server and filename is the name that you would like to give the configs when you are downloading it. You can also try using HP's Procurve Manager, as HP's line of Procurve Switches are based on Foundry switches. Cheers ! I'm working on a test case trying to retrive configs from Foundry BigIron Switches and Routers. Anyone have any direction for this? Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------ Audit your website security with Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner: Hackers are concentrating their efforts on attacking applications on your website.
