I am looking for a freely available tool/package, doesn't have to be anything special, that will give me relatively real-time networkstatistics regarding the NIC on my Solaris 8 box.
Trafshow (http://soft.risp.ru/trafshow/index_en.shtml) has been very kind to me over the years. Simple, easy and pretty configurable. If you know tcpdump filter syntax, then it's the same.
Never tried it on solaris, but I see no reason it should not work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------Audit your website security with Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner: Hackers are concentrating their efforts on attacking applications on your website.
