RE: DoS tools

I don't know of an "all in one" tool, but I currently use the following
tools to stress test TCP/IP stacks and network devices:

* the ISIC suite of tools
* hping
* sing
* apsend (has a few built in DoS attacks)
* nemesis
* nmap

I use ISIC and apsend for stress testing, and the remaining tools to
construct individual packets and test stack behavior. I'm sure I'm missing a
few tools, but these are a good start.

Subject: DoS tools

I am looking to hammer an open source firewall/IDS to really put it
through its paces. What I need is an all in one TCP/IP/UDP denial of
service tool. My client wants to see the results of these real world
tools against this box to prove how effective a well managed open source
solution can be. I have heard ? datapool ? is good but have been
unable to find it so far. Any suggestions on such a tool are welcome.

Thanks,
