You are correct, you do have to do it from the command line.
You define the location of the config first and then ask the OS to upload the 
config.  One caveat to that it is if you are using the streaming version of 
the CacheOS, then this config will need to be reloaded afterwards.

Depends on which version of the CacheOS you are using.  I think starting
with the 3.x versions you are able to FTP the configuration, if I remember
correctly you have to do it through the command line, not the GUI.  I was
using the SNMP extension on the 2.x and 3.x versions of the CacheOS and
found they did not implement many SNMP features.  Basically all I could ever
get out of the box via SNMP was an Up/Down status.

i was looking at using snmp to yank the config of a cacheflow3000... i
noticed cacheflow doesn't have documented .1.3.6.1.4 OID's usually used to
set a host for uploading a configuration via tftp/ftp. do cacheflows have
this capability?
