Just a personal opinion:Qualys has been started by very skilled individuals with years of experience in security. Many of their team members have years of hardcore penetration testing experience.
Their product, basically a web-based vulnerability scanner, is quite a good one. Unlike commercial scanners, it doesn't require any installation or any maintenance. The QualysGuard attack engine is updated constantly with all the recent vulnerabilities, including non-public ones.
Just my two cents. At 12:20 AM 13/9/2000, you wrote:
Hi, Have any of you ever used QualysGuard for Pen-Test? http://www.sunbelt-software.com/product.cfm?id=545 If so please let me know your opinion on the product and the fact that its Web Based. Doesn't it seems a little scary? Thanks! Mart! ***************************************** Pensée de la semaine : Ce sont justement les vérités les plus simples que l'homme découvre en dernier.
