[PEN-TEST] About Web Testing and others

Hi there,

I've read the thread about Web Testing, and I wonder if there is a more
general tool (Perl language is fine) to test more than the http service...

It could be interesting to simulate a complete "virtual-human" batched test
procedure, using the common services like FTP,HTTP,HTTPS,SMTP,POP3 and so
on. Obviously its main task it's not find bugs or exposures but understand
if there's any limitation to the "legal" use of the services, without
spending a lot of time in front of the keyboard...
