apple cert question (JP)

today (6 June 2012) i was updating iTunes, using the apple software update
(OS: Windows 7 x64), to 10.6.3 (Size: 79.71 MB) because of SA-2012-06-11-1
released today and before i clicked install i checked the certificate that
is being used to (as Microsoft says)  'make changes' i found that the
'valid to' and' Valid from' was out of date, is this a problem or is this
my own inability to comprehend the Certificate process

I hope i have not made a fool of myself, this is my first post.
