802.1x/Marvin

I'm testing a 802.1x implementation at a client site. I've bridged the workstation and the switch using Marvin on a 
laptop running BT4 and this all works fine. What I want to do now is introduce the tap0 element using a VM machine on 
the laptop.

I think I've configured Marvin correctly with the tap0 details. I've got another BT4 instance running through 
virtualbox but its not working. Can anyone help?
