When I was looking into this a while back I found that this was illegal, and as such none of the providers offered the ability. It seems to get stripped out by the providers when you hit the PSTN. Maybe an international provider that offers it can be used to spoof UK numbers, but I doubt it. I take it you’re trying to make a call to the PSTN?
I can spend spoofed SMSs and obviously emails so I just wanted to be able to add phone calls to my list. They would probably be more likely just to be used as proof of concept on SE tests or to wind up friends. Looks like I'm out of luck unless I want to do definitely illegal things. Robin

Regardless, I would imagine the process would be the same as I believe the data signaling to be similar. I know it is, or certainly used to be, in the US but I'd heard that it wasn't possible in the UK. Any comments or link?
