Thank you very much for the pointers, I am going to look into all of the recommendations made.


To  answer  J.McCluggage's clarification question.  The idea is the laptop that I just for the assessment would not be 
a member of the domain, so I would have to authenticate into the domain.  I will be doing tests with and without admin 
credentials just to compare the results.
