IM Proxy Suggestions

Hello all,

I am currently looking for an instant messaging  proxy solution, preferably open source  or small business oriented for 
logging of  both client and  webbased IM traffic ex facebook and yahoo chats.

I know a few of the Linux firewalls like Smoothwall has this feature but it only supports a limited amount of clients.
