Backtrack logo on a wifi adapter

There was a discussion about this on the BackTrack Forums in 2007 when the
Frech Forums stated selling T-Shirts with the logo on it:

Where is was stated that the image was given with no-copyright.
Also on a recent podcast Interview I was listening to {sorry can't remember
which one} they were talking to the UK based BackTrack Dev and he said the
original artiest did all the graphics on the new forums as well.
