Can't send data while in Promiscuous mode

Yes, the ip was set. ifconfig shows it has an ip, and iwconfig seems to show
it's connected, but once you use "ifconfig eth1 promisc" or try to use tools
like TCPDump, it quits being able to send.

Thanks,
Adrian

Did you set an IP address before entering promisc mode?

Hi a
I'm messing around with the ZipIt, trying to get Promiscuous mode to
work (yes, I mean Promiscuous and not monitor mode). I can use:
ifconfig eth1 promisc

and it will go into Promiscuous mode, but then I can't send any data
(which means no ARP poisoning). Any ideas?

Thanks,
Adrian
