People who criticize on the Internet

Irongeek: You rock. Don't worry about your accent. It's charming.
I can only imagine what the Swedish Chef sounds like who criticized you.
(No offense to current listmembers from .se)

One could fill a thimble with the aggregate amount of "original research" on
the entire
Internet. Most everything is a derivative of someone else's work.

I for one have never had an original idea in my life and I am 41 years old.

There is something to be said for having people that are allowed to
comment on postings you use be required to verify an email at least
and allow it to be posted at the moderators discretion to curb some of
these trolling comments. Trolls will learn (sometimes) that if other
readers are able to respond to them directly rather than just by
populating a comments thread they may want to think twice about doing
so the next time. Aside from that step I agree with everyone else on
ignoring them being the only real avenue for dealing with that kind of
abuse.

BTW your videos are excellent and it is often much easier to
understand what you've recorded than a README that the author threw
together for something that they know well because they created the
project/tool/program, but an end user is starting from scratch with.
I appreciate your work and would hate to see something like that
discourage you in the least.

I think it's worth noting that you'll never please everyone, however
there
are probably more people that appreciate your work than those that
don't.
That being said, a nice video addition might be to show how to track
someone
back from their Swedish ISP. I'll bet he thinks that video is
unique...

How many years is it now that you've been doing videos? I used to
think
it was good at that you did them. But your speech impediment hasn't
improved.
Your not an idiot because of how you sound, it's because you make
ten
minutes of READMEs. I have NEVER seen a video from you with ANY
unique
information.
It's a bad joke and you should switch to writing something you
actually
think about.
Hearing you in your RETARD voice butcher some summary a programs
intro.... pathetic.

Why does someone bother to keep watching the videos if he never gets
anything out of it? And why even take the time to send a flame to
someone
you don't know? It's not like I raped his grandma or something.
