I've got the 1005ha and love it, other than the ghost pasting of website titles in ubuntu (not sure if it happens in windows). It's by no means a powerhouse, but it's got built in atheros chipset (no interfaces are detected with base install of ubuntu 9.04) and supports packet injection. Hey all, So I know this has been covered a number of times but I was wondering what the list members would do if they need to invest a bit of cash in a new laptop/netbook to use for visiting customers (or sites) to carry out audits & maybe simple pentesting activities. My choice lie on either : - dell mini 10 - asus eeepc 1005HA or spend extra cash and get a Dell Studio 15? any thoughts? -- Thomas Fischer email: tvfischer at gmail.com tvfischer at free.fr twitter.com/FVT fvter.wordpress.com IM: gTalk:tvfischer at gmail.com <gTalk%3Atvfischer at gmail.com> MSN:tvfischer at hotmail.com <MSN%3Atvfischer at hotmail.com> Y!:tvfischer_FR PGP Key: https://keyserver1.pgp.com/vkd/DownloadKey.event?keyid=0x27FBA97646CF2077 -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- _______________________________________________ Pauldotcom mailing list Pauldotcom at mail.pauldotcom.com http://mail.pauldotcom.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pauldotcom Main Web Site: http://pauldotcom.com
