Testing procedures for a good WiFi card

Hi All, Since it can be a pain to find a good WiFi card, what with vendors changing chip sets so often, I thought maybe should do a video on selecting a good card. For example, you are thinking of buying a used one from a friend, but wish for an easy way to test it first. What would be good testing procedures should I run them through? Obviously, test monitor mode with: - ifconfig wlan0 down - iwconfig wlan0 mode monitor channel 9 - ifconfig wlan0 up - tcpdump -i wlan0 -s 0 -w /media/mmc1/montest.pcap or - airmon-ng <start|stop> <interface> [channel] Then test injection with: - aireplay-ng -9 <interface> What else? Thanks, Adrian -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://mail.pauldotcom.com/pipermail/pauldotcom/attachments/20090505/68487723/attachment.htm
