Me neither. and I figure if I get thrown on the blue or red team,
either way, will be useful for me.

Are there any benchmarks you might be able to think of in regards to
the skills one must possess in order to participate in this kind of
event?

I'm not a professional pen-tester or incident response handler, I
would like to participate, but don't want to be of detriment to the
team.

Its free and open to the public. Tenable will be sponsoring and I
will
be there on both days as the Red Team coach.

Hope to see you there!

Huh, I'll be in Jersey City this weekend. If I'm not stuck in the
office on the 21st, I might see if I can get to this. It would be
cool
to see what it's like.

As I understand it, the Infragard meetings are generally open
to the
public unless noted otherwise (at least that's what is stated
on the
site for the NJ chapter), but perhaps someone who is a member
can
    confirm.

I'm really looking forward to checking out the CTF, I've never
been
    to one before...

Limited info not sure if its for members only? Also
interested if
anyone finds their local chapters useful?
