I've installed astaro and fortinet routers in both these types of
environments. They're solid

I'm thinking about replacing the crappy router at the office w/ a
Linksys RV042, but I wanted to hear some second opinions about this
device.

I'm the office IT guy and the IT work is supposed to be a minor,
on-the-side gig. I don't know routers all that well but I can setup
SOHO routers, port forwarding, DHCP, DNS and simple firewall rules.

I'm interested in the RV042 because it was recommended to me for its
failover capability in case one of the WAN connections go down. We
plan
to bring in a second internet connection into the office and install
VOIP phones on a separate subnet. We've got around 40 workstations
and
a half dozen servers. We plan to install about 40 VOIP handsets.
It's
a fully hosted VOIP service so no Asterisk server.

Is there another router I should look at?
