How many people add their home town or street name when it doesn't get
recognised by the spell checker?

This just popped into my head, for those that use MS Office, take a look at
your custom.dic file and what it says about you:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application
Data\Microsoft\UProof\CUSTOM.DIC

Things that folks add to their custom dictionary for spell checking are
likely proper names of folks they are in contact with, project names, or
not-so-common technical jargon for their field. If you have access to a
boxes file system, this could be useful info.
