But I think Steven might have identified the wrong interface. Because when I tried the script with the same arguments but a different target, I got the same error. Worth some insight.
@Varunram, No, as I mentioned in the 1st post, http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/2017/q1/87 This issue exists on Nmap 7.40, 7.31, but not on Nmap 7.12, because I tested it with the same command, and for Nmap 7.12 works. Therefore I believe it's not I identified the wrong interface. BTW, are you able to run the command to successfully detect the DHCP service? Thanks.
