Hi Tamal,

I have improved the signing method in Npcap 0.05 R12, please try at:
https://github.com/nmap/npcap/releases

If 0.05 R12 is still recognized as a virus, please try installers one by
one in the time descending order: R11, R10, R9... Let me know from which
version Npcap starts to be detected as virus.
Thanks!

Cheers,
Yang

Hi,

Symantec Endpoint Protection detects Npcap as a virus and it gives the
reference link:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2015-120719-4814-99&vid=4294922999

Please let me know how to avoid this.
