Hi All,




This is my status report *#3 of 13*


*Accomplishments*



   - Going through the dns-ip6-arpa-scan.nse code.
   - Implementing the script on various IPv6 nameservers.
   - Will be posting the response of those nameservers to dev list soon, to
   take feedback and proceed with the improvements accordingly.

   - Host Discovery
   - Port Scanning Basics
   - Port Scanning techniques
   - Port Specification and Scan order

*Priorities (will remain the same as I am working on them simultaneously &
haven't completely finished any of them yet ):*



   1. Implement some improvements to dns-ip6-arpa.nse, as describe at
   http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/2012/q2/45.
   2. Also consider a move to "fire and forget" logic.
   Description : Just blast out the queries that we know we have to make,
   and then read any replies that may happen to come back.But still try not to
   introduce inaccuracy (missed hosts) by flooding the network.

   3. Fixing service detection so it can handle 0-byte captures without
   crashing.
   4. Fixing a segmentation fault in Ncat when scanned with the SSL NSE
   scripts.
