Zenmap to print progress % and ETA in the status bar?

From what I know, Nmap's stderr reports everything that would be 
needed for Zenmap to report ETA and progress percentage in a 
visual form. This also feels like a small change. Is there a 
reason it's not implemented yet, or is it that just nobody 
touched it yet since David [1]?
