Performance / Optimization Specialist Inquiry

I'm Brandon from SF Bay Area, California.  I recently moved to California
to become more involved in network security and to attend Diablo Valley
College for Computer Science.  I do not have any recent works to post as I
have mainly dealt with proprietary work.

I am very interested in the Carna Botnet as I have knowledge on industrial
machinery, I would like to dive deeper into the access points of certain
devices.  While I am not a programming genius nor a networking expert, I
have managed to get my feet wet and am ready to take a dive.  I have an
extensive collection of industrial information that I would like to
cross-reference with Carna Botnets data dump.  Also, I would like any time
consuming tedious projects as I am an insomniac dreaming of morphing into
Neo.

A bit of silly theorycrafting in long-term wants to develop something like
RACI or Remote Autonomous Control Injection.  I mainly want to focus on the
simple configurations that the majority of devices have.  Taking advantage
of the protocols set by SAE for systems such as J1939, these devices should
not be easily accesible but should be exploited if they are.  I am speaking
of CAN networks running behind satellites\Satellite information that may
be useful.

1.  Who could I send information to regarding device discovery and how
could I assist in implementation?
2.   I would like to assist in the actual scanning process and help setup
clients for the botnet, I would also like to test the Bay Area.  Who do I
need to speak to?
