Nping will send packets at raw ethernet level

Starting Nping 0.6.25 ( http://nmap.org/nping ) at 2013-02-07 16:32
FLE Standard
 Time
Resolving specified targets...
Failed to determine route to host 192.168.0.100. Skipping it...
Execution aborted. Nping needs at least one valid target to operate.
LAN 192.168.0.100 - ip of machine that runs nping.
Tested it on clean VM too, same result.
Pinging other host on lan works fine.
Specifying --send-eth yields same results.

Thanks for this report. Can you show us the output of these commands?
        nmap --route-dst 192.168.0.100
        nmap --iflist
        route print
