Script Library seems like a great idea. Another suggestion: "Script
Repository" - which would also make much more sense if the scripts were
placed in a git or svn repository.

Script Basket? How about Script Biscuits?

Hehe.

"Script Library" seems like a pretty solid idea to me. Script Showcase has the connotation of exhibiting premier
scripts, yet they are secondary because they are not shipping with Nmap. Therefore I think Showcase overplays the
significance of these scripts. Library on the other hand signifies a valuable resource that can be referred to and
'checked out' once the interest of the Nmap user/developer grows to a level where additional scripts are sought.

Additional consideration: As the Script Library grows there may come a time when the requirement for a more
developed interface comes about. A comparable resource for such scripts is the userscripts.org site for
consolidating all of the Greasemonkey scripts that have been developed. There are some pitfalls with userscripts.org
that should be avoided however. One major one that I have observed is that the installs count has been completely
gamed by folks looking to get their script above the fold with automated downloads making that stat worse than
worthless. There are noteworthy features of userscripts that can be factored when the time comes however.

Not exactly renaming but it would be nice to have all these scripts in
a single repo so we can just git pull or svn up it to get all these in
one go. I know these scripts are controlled by the people who wrote
them but if a central git repo were created people may be persuaded to
submit the scripts to it.

Hi folks, I'm happy to see that the NSE Script Vault has been growing
well and contains a lot of scripts which don't ship with Nmap for one

While it is a great resource, I think it is a poor name. A vault is
where you lock things away, rarely to be seen again. But the whole
point of this page is to highlight and encourage this ecosystem of
external scripts.

How about renameing the page to the Script Showcase instead? Or maybe
someone has other ideas?
