you were right. I found that I have in /usr/local/bin/nmap and there I have
version 4.85.

where portage is supposed to install it? /usr/bin/nmap ?

I downgraded libpcap to version 0 and nmap started to work, but now i
realize that it worked with version 4.85 from /usr/local/bin.

I can't understand from where the version in /usr/local/bin comes.
