Nmap only supports Ethernet devices and unfortunately, your wireless
data card shows up as a point-to-point protocol (ppp) device.

You should be able to use Nmap with some reduced functionality by
adding --unprivileged like so:

nmap --unprivleged -sP www.hackingmobilephones.com 

If you end up wanting to do port scans to, you might want to explicitly
add -sT too.
