David,Thanks for the feedback. I will rewrite and resubmit. After sending it in I realized that the same change could be made for the target list input file as well (-iL). I decided to see how this patch went first before writing more.
Also, I plan to add target/exclude specification validation code with appropriate error messages. Right now if you put something invalid in the exclude file you will receive an error message (Invalid character in host specification....) that provides no indication that the source of the problem was the exclude file instead of the command line or target file.
