Hi!

Here are some of the accomplishments of last week and priorities
for this week:

Accomplishments:

* Many improvements in "Nping Echo Protocol" definition. A RFC was created
  and there is a discussion going on, on the list to finish the formal
  specification of the protocol.
* Got Nping to compile on Windows! (However, there is still some work to
  do because although it compiles, Nping does not work properly on WIN32
yet.
* Started implementation of the Nping Echo client/server functionality
* Implemented IPv6Header class. This is necessary in order to provide
  IPv6 support on windows since we send packets at raw Ethernet level.
* Added new class: NpingTarget, to represent target hosts and make IPv6
  support easier.
* Updated "Nping Requirements" with current status.
* Updated function send_ip_packet() with the latest version from nmap's
  source
* Minor bug fixes.

Priorities:

* Continue porting Nping to Windows.
* Continue adding IPv6 support.
* Continue implementation of Echo Mode.
* Finish support for ICMP netmask messages.

Regards,

Luis.
