It just means that Luis doesn't have a FreeBSD machine right now.  But
we hope you FreeBSD users will help with testing and patches for that
platform.  The goal is for Nping to work just as well on FreeBSD (and
OpenBSD and NetBSD) as Nmap and Ncat do.

Sounds great-- I just didn't want to be marginalized into people forgetting we're still out here. :-p

Looking forward to seeing Luis's results; if I can build it on the Mac or Linux boxes but not the BSD server, I'll be sure to chime in!
