I was about to submit some interesting fingerprints via http://insecure.org/cgi-bin/submit.cgi?new-service, but the "check" button kept telling me that it was not OK. At last, I realized that my terminal appended some whitespace when copy-pasting. IMHO trailing whitespace should be ignored.
Hi Hans. Tahnks for the report, but I'm having some trouble reproducing this. What, exactly did you paste in? I just tried adding spaces to the end of individual lines, at the end of the whole fingerprint, and even added some newlines to the beginning, end, end and middle. And it still says "Fingerprint looks good!" in green. BTW, you can see the Javascript used from these checks at http://nmap.org/js/submit-core.js . Do you see a problem with one of the regular expressions the file defines?
